Eric S. Londeen Eric, a Chapman, Kansas native, is a third generation funeral director. Eric attended Kansas State University and then graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College with his Associates degree in Mortuary Science in December 1985. Eric joined the funeral home staff as an apprentice in 1986, and became a partner in 1993. Eric's wife, Julie, is a bookkeeper after having worked for many years at Kansas Farm Bureau and later Realty Executives Weis Real Estate. Eric and Julie have two daughters, Kirsten and Emily. Locally Eric is a member of the First Lutheran Church, Manhattan Sunflower Lions Club, Lafayette Lodge # 16 A.F. & A.M., ISIS Temple of Salina, KS, Manhattan Shrine Club, Stagg Hill Golf Course, Manhattan Country Club, and served on the board of directors of the Homecare and Hospice Foundation and on the Campaign Leadership Committee for the Good Shepherd Hospice House. Eric was honored in 2015 with the "Award of Harmony" by the Little Apple Barbershop Chorus. Professionally Eric served as president of the Kansas Funeral Directors Association 2011-2012, and is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
Douglas P. Meloan "Doug" was born and raised in Manhattan. Doug attended local schools and is a 1979 graduate of Manhattan High School. He attended Kansas State University prior to finishing his mortuary science degree in Kansas City in 1981. Doug is married to Elaine (Dickerson), also a Manhattan native and 1979 graduate of Manhattan High School. Elaine is a 1983 graduate of Kansas State University with a BS degree in Food Science and Industry. She is employed with AIB International. Doug and Elaine have two children, Julie and Dane and are proud grandparents of a granddaughter, Avery. Doug joined the funeral home staff in 1981 as an apprentice and became a partner in the firm in 1988. Locally he is a member of the First United Methodist Church, Manhattan Kiwanis Club, of which he is a past president and past state lieutenant governor, and serves as a Trustee for the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation. Doug is an Eagle Scout from Troop 74 in Manhattan and former Webelos Scout leader. Outside of his family and work Doug enjoys driving and working on classic cars. He is a member of the Yard Art Classics Car Club, the Cadillac - LaSalle Club and the Route 66 Association of Kansas. Professional memberships include the Kansas Funeral Directors Association, of which he is a past state president, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Brian W. Waddington Brian was raised in Belleville, Kansas and is a 1990 graduate of Decatur Community High School, Oberlin, Kansas. He graduated from the Mortuary Science program at Kansas City Kansas Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in 1993. Brian worked as a funeral director in Washington and Smith Center, Kansas prior to moving to Manhattan in January 2005, when he joined the staff of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home. Brian attends the St. Thomas More Catholic Church and is a member of the Sertoma luncheon club, the Masonic Lodge and the ISIS Shrine. Professional memberships include the Kansas Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. He is married to Brandi Neel of Wamego. Brandi earned her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development from Kansas State University in May 2011. Brian enjoys attending dirt track races, working on his house and spending time with his family and friends.
Shane D. Lohse Shane joined the staff of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in September of 2008 as an apprentice funeral director, becoming fully licensed in 2009. Originally from Hanover, Kansas, he graduated from Hanover High School in 1999. In 2008 he graduated from the Kansas City Kansas Community College with an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science. While attending college he lived and worked at a funeral home in Lawrence, Kansas. He and his wife, Traci, moved to Manhattan from Topeka in December of 2008 and became parents in 2010, when their daughter Maddix "Maddi" was born. They attend church at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Manhattan. An avid sports fan Shane is a registered sports official with the Kansas High School Activities Association in the sports of basketball and football. His hobbies include playing golf and fishing. Shane and his family enjoy traveling and attending sporting events. Shane's professional memberships include the Kansas Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
